The biggest fire in Magog’s history?
The activity organized by Todd Pouliot and Eric Ethier is presented by Germain Lapalme & Fils, in collaboration with the City of Magog.
“We will bring sand in the middle of Principale Street. There will be a paddling pool, inflatable games, music and many other surprises. It’s going to be the fiesta! Says businessman Todd Pouliot with his usual enthusiasm.
His sidekick, the director of operations at Media Spec, Eric Ethier, remembers “the pleasure” they had had to organize the first edition last year. “It’s going to be all the more special this year, because we decided to move downtown.”
“It will be a unique experience in the heart of the largest Magog building site! “, He argues.
The co-owner of Germain Lapalme & Fils, Gérald Lapalme, also finds that this idea makes sense, he who works on a daily basis on the construction site of rue Principale. “It is an honor to be associated with this event and to do our part to help the merchants. The work is going well and it’s a great way to highlight the progress, “he says.
The acting mayor, Nathalie Pelletier, sees this as a great opportunity to showcase the downtown area. “This is a great initiative coming directly from the community. I am convinced that the Grand Picnic magogois will become a tradition and that it will once again be an excellent success. Young and old are invited to feast with us and to encourage the merchants who, since the beginning of the works, are always there to welcome us with open arms! “, She said in a press release.
Activities will begin at 1 pm and continue until 10 pm In case of rain, the event will be postponed until Sunday, August 4th.
Remember that to facilitate access to downtown, a shuttle is available for free for citizens and tourists wishing to travel between the parking lot of the Mill and Park des Braves. The shuttle schedule is available at centrevillemagog.ca/navette.
