A pedestrian 26-year-old struck fatally after its output from a microbrewery in Stoneham
A pedestrian 26-year-old was struck fatally by a car, in the night from Wednesday to Thursday, then he walked with a group of friends at the edge of a street, in Stoneham.
Around midnight, the victim came out of the microbrewery The Stump and walked along the 1st Avenue, when she was hit by a car. The man died on the spot.
The driver, 25-year-old lost control of his car after the collision. He suffered serious injuries, but we aren’t afraid for his life, says Stéphane Tremblay, of the Sûreté du Québec.
“Alcohol and speed may have played a role in the collision”, says Mr. Tremblay.
An investigator specialized in reconstructing accidents has moved on site to clarify the circumstances of the collision.
