A vehicle smashes a building in Quebec City; several injured
A violent collision between two vehicles caused significant damage to Le Kameleon building in the Saint-Sauveur neighborhood on Wednesday. A car smashed the windows of the building to find themselves inside, in the dining room employees, causing 12 injuries.
O n not yet known the exact circumstances of the accident, which took place at 24:50 on Charest Boulevard near the intersection with Langelier. Following the collision, one of the vehicles ended at La Station du Fonds du Québec.

“An investigation is underway to determine the causes of this accident, to find out exactly what happened,” says the communications officer of the Police Department of Quebec City (SPVQ), Cyndi Paré.
According to witnesses, the driver who drove into the building was traveling at high speed and collided with another vehicle a few hundred meters before his loss of control at the corner of Langelier.
The paramedics assessed 15 people injured at the scene of the accident, 12 of whom were transported by ambulance, including the two drivers of the vehicles. We do not fear for the life of any of them. The majority of injuries were caused by broken glass from broken windows and by smoke inhalation.
The supervisor of the Quebec Ambulance Technicians Cooperative (CTAQ), Dominique Hamel, informs that all patients left in hospital were in stable condition. He also states that three people had larger injuries, all three were inside the building.
