Accused of the murder of her father
A 35-year-old woman must answer for the murder of her father during the past few days in Drummondville.
M arina Bonard was charged with the second degree murder of Jean Bonard, a 76-year-old man.
Murder Investigation in Drummondville
Dressed in a white tracksuit with chains on her hands and feet, she was brought to the Drummondville Palace on Tuesday morning.
Remember that the man was discovered inanimate Monday morning in his residence on rue Maisonneuve. His death was found at the hospital. The woman who was there was later arrested.
The file was entrusted to the Crime Against the Person Investigation Service of the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
The mobile command post was still on Tuesday morning. A team was still gathering evidence at the scene of the crime, says Ingrid Asselin, spokesman for the SQ.
Marina Bonard remains in custody until the next stage of her case on August 2nd.
