An inanimate body found on the bank of the Saint-Charles River
An inanimate body was found on the bank of the Saint-Charles River in the Limoilou neighborhood on Thursday morning. The man was taken to the hospital.
At 10:25 am, a passerby saw the half-submerged body in the Iberville Park area on 1st Street. On the spot, the police attempted to revive the individual, who was transported by ambulance.
The person “had a body part half in the water and half on the bank,” says Cindy Paré, spokesperson for the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ).
It is unclear for the moment whether he survived and under what circumstances he lost consciousness.
