Ukraine will receive the first EUR 500 million of macro-financial assistance of the Bank loan of 1 billion euros from the European Union in the coming weeks. This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during the briefing in Helsinki, reports UNN.

With the Vice-President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis, we said that in the near future, in a matter of weeks will be allocated 500 million macro-financial assistance. Assistance will be provided in collaboration with the International monetary Fund
We will remind, on July 9 entered into force, the European Union’s decision to grant Ukraine macro-financial assistance to 1 billion euros. On 26 June, the European Union finally approved the allocation of this credit.
