Charli XCX is back with “1999,” his new collaboration with Troye Sivan
Hit me baby one more time ! Charli XCX and Troye Sivan come to unveil their new collaboration “1999”. The two popstars have teasé the song, a little earlier this week, on Twitter with a series of tweets : “I just want to take 2 seconds to say how happy I am to do a song with @troyesivan” wrote Charlotte on the social network. In addition to the artwork inspired by the Matrix, the piece makes references to “Baby One More Time” of Britney Spears, and Michael Jackson, and “Shady” aka ” Eminem at the top, with Kamikaze, since that “Killshot” has become a tube.
The two artists yet accustomed to collaborations ever did together. Remember that Troye Sivan has worked with Ariana Grande on “Dance To This” for her last album, Bloom, as well as with the singer australian Gordi.
