British singer ed Sheeran was accused of plagiarizing someone else’s song in his song, Thinking Out Loud.
The lawsuit stated that he had copied the song Marvin gray Let’s Get It On, reports korrespondent.net.
According to the publication, the judge is not convinced Sheeran that two songs are not very similar to each other and the similarities are only minor elements.
The judge has not decided whether the notes are analyzed in the Department of copyright, or to compare audio recordings.
“In addition to the specific similarities between the elements of two compositions, it should be noted that the ordinary listener can accept the aesthetic appearance of these two songs for one and the same”, — stated in the decree.
The judge also rejected the request of the artist on the simplified procedure of the trial.
