Famous Hollywood actor Harrison Ford may soon star in the film based on the novel by American writer Jack London “call of the wild”.
As noted mir24.tv in the event the parties reach an agreement on the beginning of the series, Ford will play the role of prospector John Thornton in the period of the gold rush.
According to preliminary data, shooting the film adaptation of the novel of London begin in the fall of 2018.
Previously Thornton, played by such famous actors as Clark gable (1935) and Charlton Heston (in 1972).
“Call of the wild” — an early novel (according to another classification – the story) by Jack London published in 1903. The novel is set in the canadian Yukon during the gold rush. Then the demand for large and powerful dogs were particularly high. The main character — a dog Buck (a cross between a Scottish shepherd and a Saint Bernard), brought from the cattle ranch in California. He falls into the harsh reality of life of a sled dog. Back trying to survive despite the harsh treatment of the owners, the cruelty of the dogs and the harshness of nature. At the end of the novel he leaves people running wild, becoming the leader of a pack of wolves.
