Montreal-Trudeau customs officer accused of informing pimp
A Border Services Officer has recently been charged with breach of trust by a public officer after apparently providing information to an alleged pimp.
According to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the “privileged and sensitive” information provided by Manuelle Duranceau-Lapointe, 29, to the alleged pimp was obtained as part of her duties as a border services officer at Montréal-Montréal airport. Trudeau.
The investigation began on August 8, 2018, after the City of Montreal Police Service’s integrated procuring team informed the RCMP that Manuelle Duranceau-Lapointe had transmitted to one of their main investigative matter an opinion watchtower of which he was the object.
The accused also intervened with customs officials involved in the seizure of the same person’s phone in May 2018.
The links between the young woman and the alleged pimp have not been specified.
