Kiev will receive funding for the development of a new laboratory from the affiliate programme of the European Union.

The laboratory will work in Vyshgorod. For its functioning, the Europeans will allocate 500 thousand euros. This amount will be used to purchase modern equipment for measuring water quality. Scientists will provide a gas chromatograph analyzer to determine nitrogen and mercury, a system for water purification, laboratory dishwasher and the thermal for the determination of phosphorus. All vehicles will be delivered and installed before the end of 2019. Lab will explore the water that is in the reservoir.
EUWI+ is a project of the European Union. Its full name sounds like “Water initiative plus”. The acts of cooperation with the Europeans already signed DSNS, Ministry of environment and the State water resources Agency of Ukraine.
In 2019 in Kiev plan to withdraw from chlorine and switch to alternative method of water purification using chlorine dioxide, reduces water hardness and is considered to be safe conventional chlorine. This method is also more environmentally friendly and economical.
