A month ago in Ukraine introduced new rules for taking children abroad. Ukrainians it is important to remember what documents are now needed for travel, according to politeka.
Under the new rules, for travel abroad of minors must have their own passport. This is mandatory for travel outside Ukraine.
Persons under the age of 16 can now travel abroad accompanied by one or both parents, adopters, guardians, foster parents, accompanying person or persons, and accompanied by crew members of the aircraft on which they are sent abroad.
To travel with one parent need notarized permission of the second the name of the country and duration of stay.
To leave the child with the authorized person must be notarized consent of both parents including country and duration of stay.
For leaving a child accompanied by the crew of the aircraft is required to pay for the service in the airline and provide notarized permission from both parents. Adults also need to arrive with your child at the airport and fill out additional documents.
The details of the carriage of an unaccompanied child are determined by the airline.
In some cases, the child can travel abroad without obtaining notarized permission from the other parent. This is possible if:
- the other parent is a foreigner or a stateless person;
- if the passport or travel document of the child has a record of sending to permanent residence outside Ukraine or a note about taking on permanent consular registration at the diplomatic representation or consular institution of Ukraine abroad.
