From 1 January the people of Kiev will have to pay much more for the removal and disposal of waste. KP “Kievteploenergo” raised the cost of these services by 15% — 35% for different consumers.
According to the relevant order of the KSCA from 26.12.2018 No. 2352, the cost has increased thus:
- Solid waste the population has risen to 19% (129,26 to 159,10 UAH per cubic meter)
- 15% for budgetary organizations (147,64 to 172, 91 UAH per cubic meter)
- 24% for other consumers (with 156,13 to 204,31 UAH per cubic meter).
- 35% increase in charges for removal of bulky household waste (115,09 to 175,82 91 UAH per cubic meter) for the population.
Earlier it was reported that on the left Bank will open two new stations waste sorting. Was the initiator of the project “Ukraine without garbage”. It also became known that near Kiev will build a new recycling plant. After this, the capital will refuse to use the landfill of solid waste №5. And recently the head of the Ministry of health Suprun told about the harmful effects of landfills on people’s health.
