Scottish students will study the rights of LGBT people

The Scottish government plans to introduce into the school curriculum the course of LGBT rights, writes The Guardian. Students in public schools will study the history of the LGBT movement, learn about prominent LGBT people and how to practicesthat homophobia.

According to the Deputy first Minister of Scotland John swinney, Scotland will become the first country in the world where will study such a course.

“Our education system must support all students, to promote the full realization of their potential. It is very important that the school curriculum was as diverse as the young people who study in our schools,” said Sweeney.

In Switzerland will be punished for homophobia and transphobia. The punishment for homophobia can be up to three years in prison.

Scientists call the age in which personal self-esteem of the people reaches its peak. Experts also told how hunger affects life expectancy.
