“On one of the sites of the necropolis was found a mass grave of people literally piled in a heap. Some of them were lying in unnatural poses. For example, one buried as if he pressed his hands to his head. Have trimmed its skeleton was under the impression that the accident just buried alive and he was trying somehow to cover my face before death,”— said Markov.

Just discovered there are more than 10 skeletons. Markov added that the skulls of people severely damaged and without the help of anthropologists the cause of death to know is not possible.

“This needs to be handled already anthropologists. Maybe they were victims of some massacre, and maybe the people who died during the epidemic”, – said Markov.

While we can only say that people have died at the same time.

It should be noted that Khazar khanate existed in 650-969 years and controlled the territory of Caucasus, Lower and Middle Volga, a modern North-Western Kazakhstan, sea of Azov, the Eastern part of the Crimea, and the steppes and forest-steppes of Eastern Europe up to the Dnieper.
