The Paris Opera has withdrawn the invitation of dancer Sergei Polunin to take part in the ballet “Swan lake” in February 2019 because of his statements about intolerance to full people.
This was reported by Agence France-Presse, with reference to the art Director of the Opera Aurelie DuPont.
As indicated earlier, DuPont welcomes talent Polunin, however, considers that his recent public statements in social networks do not match the values of the Opera.
On Friday on his page on Instagram, the dancer and actor Sergei Polunin has published a comment in which it strongly spoke to the full of people, and a month ago in another post insulted dancers-gays. The comment was deleted the next day.
Earlier, Sergei Polunin in Instagram published a picture of her Russian passport. Before that he was a citizen of Ukraine.
