The first woman gave birth to a child after her transplant a uterus from a dead woman, became a resident of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The recipient was 32-year-old woman with congenital absence of the uterus and the donor is 45-year-old woman who died as a result of a stroke. Experts believe that this experience will help women without a uterus to have a child without the participation of living donors.
